For Latvia are available four European Union structural funds and Cohesion fund, which allow Latvian government to grant financial assistance to resolve structural economic and social problems to reduce economic and social disparities between Member States.

Managing authority of EU Structural and Cohesion funds in Latvia is Ministry of Finance, whish has also a particular role in communication of implementation of structural funds.
